Dubai, Marketing and Media Department: Emirates Transport (ET) organized an event to welcome a group of new recruits who have recently joined the company to work in various administrative positions and levels.

The Hayyak (welcome) event, was held at ET’s head office in Dubai and included an introduction to the company’s various services and activities, as well as providing the new recruits with information of the opportunities, benefits and career development paths available within the framework of the company’s work systems.

Faryal Tawakul, Acting CEO of Emirates Transport, said: “The company believes in the pivotal role played by its human resources in the success and development of its business and the implementation of its ambitious strategic plans to provide pioneering, sustainable and integrated transport services. This believe is embodied through its keenness to adopt and implement the best modern employment systems and practices in order to attract the best talent and expertise.”   

Tawakul added that the latest “Hayyak” event, which is held on a quarterly basis, saw the company welcome 30 new administrative employees who joined since the start of last December, pointing out that the event included a set of welcoming activities, introductory and motivational material, as well as the opportunity to meet with a selection of managers and specialized experts from different locations and positions to familiarize them with the company’s activities, services and operations.  

It is worth noting that Emirates Transport boasts a workforce of about 26,000 employees, and is keen to continue improving its work environment after winning several local and international awards for its positive work environment. In recent years ET focused on developing training and education programmes for its employees through the launch of smart learning platforms, added to existing employee development programmes and initiatives.
