ET signs 238 transport and leasing contracts in the emirate of Abu Dhabi in H1

Marketing and Media Department – Dubai:

Emirates Transport (ET) announced the signing of 200 new contracts and 38 renewed contracts worth a total of Dhs24 million, with a number of clients in the emirate of Abu Dhabi, during the first half of 2019.

Saad Hamdan, Head of Sales for Abu Dhabi, said that 450 vehicles and 850 drivers are to be allocated to deliver the services as per the signed agreements.  

Hamdan said that the new contracts were for the provision of transport and leasing of vehicles, as well as fleet management services, adding that there is a total of 101 clients from both the government and private sectors who are currently served through ET’s Abu Dhabi operations.

Head of Sales for Abu Dhabi explained that the high quality and efficient service package offered by ET for over 40 years had resulted in attracting and renewing a number of contracts with a number of government and private sector bodies, helping the company overcome the challenges presented by the Covid-19 pandemic over the past 18 months.   

It worth noting that ET’s Transport and Leasing Division provides a wide range of vehicles which includes ambulances, medical supplies transport vehicles, funeral transport vehicles, blood transport vehicles, mobile clinics, in addition to water transport vehicles.

The most prominent clients of the Division in Abu Dhabi include the Ministry of the Interior, Emirates Identity Authority, Etisalat, Adnoc and Abu Dhabi Media, in addition to a number of universities and colleges and companies from the private sector.
