Emirates Transport (ET), represented by the Centre for Valet Parking and Motorbike Rentals, has announced a 20% increase in motorcycle and electric vehicle rental contracts in 2017, compared to 2016.
Khalid Yousef Al Ali, manager of the Centre for Valet Parking and Motorbike Rentals, said: “With the growing confidence shown by customers in the services of Emirates Transport, the Centre has been keen to provide high quality, efficient and competitive services to its customers. The Centre’s efforts have resulted in a 20% growth in the number of new and renewed contracts in 2017, compared to 2016,”.
Al Ali explained that the Centre provides 51 gulf carts to public and private sector entities such as airports, free zones, sports and cultural clubs, residential complexes and hotels, adding that electric-powered gulf carts help reduce carbon footprint, thus enhancing environmental sustainability.
Al Ali said that Emirates Transport is investing all its efforts and capabilities to provide value-added services to its customers, exceeding their expectations, within the framework of its responsibilities in the transport sector.
The manager of the Centre for Valet Parking and Motorbike Rentals added that the contracts provided to these clients also feature related services including the provision of Salik cards on motorcycles, fuel cards, bike accessories, regular bike maintenance, as well as providing emergency replacement drivers and bikes.
Al Ali also confirmed that the ET’s motorcycle fleet is also equipped with smart systems including GPS tracking, which provides the driver with information and data to help him avoid traffic.
