Emirates Transport (ET) organized a series of initiatives, aimed at its employees across all categories, in order to create an atmosphere of joy and positivity.
This is per the Corporation commitment to execute and implement social responsibility programs for the its employees and the wider community, and to follow the directives of our wise government in implementing the happiness initiatives and programs in government entities and agencies.
Abdullah Mohammed, manager of ET’s Government Communications Department, stated: “The launched initiatives were among 18 others the Corporation had committed to implement in order to enhance employees’ positive energy and to promote happiness, optimism and love of work within them.”
Mohammed noted that during the past period, the Corporation has organized three initiatives aimed at various job categories, which were: “Sunday Smile”, “Happiness Cinema” and “Our Summer is Cool”.
The first of these, “Sunday smile”, is an ongoing monthly initiative where publications and symbolic gifts are distributed to the employees at the start of the week.
The manager of ET’s Government Communications Department added: “Happiness Cinema” involved arranging the Corporation’s head office auditorium to simulate an actual cinema, in which employees were treated to a comedy film showing and some refreshments.
He went on to explain that the third initiative, “Our Summer is Cool”, was aimed at the auto technicians and other employees at the auto workshops, whereas cold drinks are distributed, raising awareness on the importance of avoiding long exposures to the sun, and prompting employees to drink sufficient water, which will reduce the impact of high temperatures during summer.
