Emirates Transport (ET), represented by the Department of Environment, Occupational Health and Safety (HSE), held two training workshops on accident and injury processes within the governance, risk management and compliance (GRC) system.
The training comes within the framework of ET’s efforts to update the electronic systems for work related accidents and injuries.
Khaled Shukur, HSE Department manager at ET, stated that the two workshops were organized with the attendance of about 100 employees whose work deals with safety affairs, and they were conducted by Engineer Mohamed AlKailani, head of the Quality Section.
Shukur added that the workshops came within the context of the corporation’s strategy of continuous development of the capacities of its employees, in technical and specialized areas, to attain the required levels of performance, which will contribute to supporting and strengthening the corporation’s efforts to adopt global best practices and international standards, as part of ET’s efforts to achieve its vision of excellence and leadership in sustainable transport services.
The first workshop covered the registration application for traffic accident and insurance claims (AMS), while the second workshop focused on the application of HSE reporting and investigation.
