Emirates Transport (ET) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Dahua Technology Middle East to explore potential partnership opportunities between the two sides, particularly in relation to mobile surveillance solutions and projects.
The MoU was signed by Jasim Al Marzouqi, Acting Executive Director of School Transport at ET, and Liang Ni, General Manager of Dahua Technology Middle East, during the 15th edition of GESS (Global Educational Supplies and Solutions) Exhibition and Conference, which was held in Dubai.
The agreement puts in place mechanisms to help both parties establish a framework of cooperation that will identify and deliver mutually beneficial business projects.
Faryal Tawakul, Acting CEO of Emirates Transport, underlined the significance of the MoU, and stated that it falls within the strategic objectives of Emirates Transport to modernise and develop its transport services through the use of the latest available technologies.
She said: “We are delighted to sign this cooperation agreement with Dahua Technology, a world leader in video surveillance systems for school buses, the Internet of Things (IoT) and other related technology products.
