Marketing and Communications Department – Dubai:
The Emirates Transport Auto Services Centre in Abu Dhabi, has completed 34,681 maintenance services for 34,645 vehicles during the first quarter of the year.
According to Abdullatif Al Ansari, manager of the Abu Dhabi Auto Services Centre, demand for maintenance services was down 26% compared with the first quarter of 2020 when the Centre carried out 46,720 maintenance jobs.
This is largely due to the complete halt in some primary services such as government school transport, as well as sizable reductions in commercial transport services such as the Airport Taxi, due to the effects of Covid-19, stated Al Ansari.
Al Ansari also announce the Centre has signed two new contracts and extended three others and expressed ET’s delight in the trust and confidence shown by its clients, which it has established over many years of outstanding performance.
The manager of ET’s Abu Dhabi Auto Services Centre highlighted how the Auto Services Division at Emirates Transport has achieved a significant leap in the level of its business and its revenues over the previous years, helped by a significant investment in infrastructure with the launch of a number of new auto services workshops throughout the country.
Al Ansari expressed his hope to achieve greater success in the future, in line with the ambitious strategic plans of the Company, and to meet the expectations of the clients.
