Emirates Transport (ET) has provided 150 buses dedicated to transporting 2,200 students from different regions of the country to the universities and colleges in Dubai and Sharjah.
Abdullah Abdul Rahman, manager of Operations in Dubai and Sharjah, revealed that university transport services are provided to students to and from a number of universities and colleges in Dubai and Sharjah including Zayed University, University of Sharjah, American University in the UAE and other higher education.
Abdul Rahman pointed out that ET provides 150 buses for university transport services, characterized by their modernity and adherence to the best technical specifications and quality requirements, in order to ensure the achievement of the highest levels of safety, comfort and well-being for transferred students.
The ET manager of Operations in Dubai and Sharjah emphasized that over the last few months, drivers undertook further specialized and periodic training and qualification programmes, especially in the field of traffic safety and first aid, as part of continued efforts to ensure the highest safety and comfort standards for all passengers.
Abdul Rahman stated that ET’s Call Centre, through the toll-free number 8006006, welcomes all inquiries by students, parents, and university and college departments throughout the year.
