Emirates Transport has provided 104 specialized vehicles to serve the health sector in the UAE. This is within the service framework of the transport and leasing division to meet the needs of ET strategic partners contracted nationwide in the various governmental and private institutions.
Ahmed Saleh Al Jasmi, Director Government Transport Dubai, stated; The Corporation provides ambulances and mobile clinics equipped with all necessary equipments and medical instruments per the highest approved standards and specifications. These efforts are part of the transportation and leasing services system provided by the Corporation to various clients in government agencies and private institutions nationwide. Thus, to keep pace with the aspirations of the government to achieve the desired integration between government entities, and to meet the government expeditions and entitlements during the coming period.
The Director of Government Transport in Dubai added; The Corporation provided 106 drivers for 91 ambulances, two mobile clinics and 11 hearses to its partners in the health sector nationwide led by the Ministry of Health and Prevention.
Al-Jasmi said; The medical vehicles are equipped with the latest in equipment and devices, such as an ECG device, biokinetic/vital indicators measuring appartus, Ophthalmoscope and internal organs (dermatology, eye test, general laboratory and haematology test). As well as regularly updating, replacing and maintenance of vehicles provided to Medical institutions per the concluded contracts. He added; ET transportation services won the confidence of the Corporation’s customers, enabling it to expand activities and to satisfy the requirements of partners both efficiently and professionally and per the highest local and international standards.
