Emirates Transport has launched a service to clear all transactions related to traffic accidents via the accident repair unit. It allows customers (vehicle owners) a distinguished service of saving time and convenience by consenting the requests of those who are exposed to traffic accidents. The unit follows up the clearance of all transactions related to the traffic accident in coordination With the competent authorities.
Eng. Amer Al Harmoudi, Executive Director of Technical Services Division at Emirates Transport, said that the service on offer is a unique addition to the technical services package provided by the Corporation. Thus, reflecting the Corporation continuous efforts to provide a variety of services packages to its customers, in line with the Corporation’s strategy which focuses on meeting the needs of different categories customers, in addition to documenting its role as an active partner with the traffic police and the transport authorities nationwide to ensure the highest rates of safety and security on the state’s roads.
Al Harmoudi pointed out that the service will allow customers to enjoy a level of comfort, away from the anxiety and tensions associated with vehicle accidents, while the accident repair unit team continues following up the vehicle documents and the approval of the insurance company to repair the vehicle. As well as towing the damaged vehicle and delivering it back to the customer after the completion of the repair process.
The Executive Director of Technical Services Division stated; the unit has qualified expertise and competencies in the field of vehicles maintenance. The unit team has undergone a specialized training program in optimal and professional dealings with vehicle accidents cases on internal domestic and external highway roads which witness intensive usage and traffic congestion. Al Harmoudi referred to the fact that the Corporation is receiving calls from the public and those wishing to benefit from this service on toll free 8006006, noting that the team is committed to arrive at the customer site within 30 minutes.
