As part of its ongoing efforts to raise awareness of occupational health and safety procedures, Emirates Transport (ET) has launched a series of 3D videos aimed at technicians working in its auto maintenance workshops in various regions of the country.
Hanan Saqer, executive director of Corporate Services at ET, said that the videos, commissioned ET’s HSE Department, aim to raise awareness of the importance of applying the highest standards of occupational health and safety, ensuring a healthy and safe environment, free from risks and work injuries.
Saqer stated that the films were prepared based on identified risks in the auto workshops such as welding, working on cranes and changing tyres.
For his part, Khalid Shukur, manager ET’s HSE Department, said that the films showcase rules and instructions to ensure the safety of workers in auto workshops and form part of the Corporation’s efforts in ensuring the highest safety standards for all its employees.
