Emirates Transport and UAE Red Crescent Now Unite for a Ramadan of Giving!
Ramadan in the UAE is more than a season of fasting—it’s a time for unity, generosity, and strengthening community bonds. This year, Emirates Transport is embodying the spirit of giving by partnering with the UAE Red Crescent to bring nourishment and gratitude to thousands across the country.
With Iftar tents set up in Ras Al Khaimah and Abu Dhabi, the initiative ensures over 6,000 meals reach those in need, serving 100 meals daily at each location throughout Ramadan. But the giving doesn’t stop there. Recognizing the backbone of its operations—its dedicated workforce—Emirates Transport is also hosting internal Iftar gatherings for 1,500 employees, a heartfelt gesture of appreciation for their unwavering commitment.
The UAE Red Crescent, a driving force in humanitarian aid, continues its mission to uplift communities, running impactful programs such as the Project of Sacrifices and Preserving Grace initiative, which redirects surplus food to those in need. By partnering with this esteemed organization, Emirates Transport reinforces its longstanding commitment to corporate social responsibility, sustainability, and community welfare.
“Ramadan is a time of reflection and generosity. We are honored to support our communities and recognize our employees who work tirelessly every day,” said Peter Milner Jørgensen, Acting CEO & CFO of Emirates Transport. “Through this partnership with the UAE Red Crescent, we hope to bring people together, spread kindness, and strengthen the values that define us.”
As Ramadan unfolds, Emirates Transport and the UAE Red Crescent remind us that giving is more than an act—it’s a shared responsibility. Through their collaboration, they are not just providing meals; they are fostering a culture of compassion that extends beyond the Holy Month, leaving a lasting impact on the community.
